Saving Yoga Wisdom

Yoga Classics Input Project (YCIP), a division of ACIP, is dedicated to the digital preservation and free distribution of authentic, classical sources of Yogic, Tantric and Ayurvedic traditions.

To keep the esoteric and profound aspects of these traditions alive in our world, YCIP operates centers in Varanasi, Kerala & Lonvola, India, collaborating with established institutions, scholars and local communities in saving ancient scriptures.

KAIVALYADHAMA PROJECT, Lonovla, India
In 2007, YCIP partnered with the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute to scan and release every book in the Institute’s library—over 26,000 ancient volumes of Yoga, Tantra, and esoteric practices dating back as far as 200AD.

KERELA PROJECT, South India
Since the launching of the Kerala Project in 2006, YCIP has been creating a database of over 5,000 titles of Ayurvedic medical texts and many rare commentaries of Kashmir Shaivism, a traditional practice of south India.
